I recently found out this week that if you have not paid your sewer bill in the park that the bill is turned over to me for payment. We sent out bills to every person today that had not paid their sewer bill to the county. How this works is the following. Your bill was due on 8/05/24. At 8/25/24 the county sends us a list of who has not paid with the amount due to them. We then have to pay that bill to the county and then bill you for the sewer charge and late fees. If you paid your bill after that 8/25/24 posting, the county would put that towards credit for the next quarter but if you are on that list that we are provided, you will be paying us. This is not the situation I was looking for with billing but somehow, they got the law passed that this is how it will operate. It’s a new system for all of us and on the letters sent out today I had the late fees waived until October 31st. Any questions can be addressed easier with email on the situation.
